Vegeteamble is a small indie strategy game built around a pretty silly idea: what if fruits and vegetables were your fighters?
You build a team, equip your characters, and experiment with different combinations as you progress through battles.
I particularly liked how the simple concept gives the game a lighthearted personality. The combat is easy to pick up, while the different characters and equipment give you some room to experiment with team builds.
There are still things I'd like to see improved, especially more variety in combat effects and boss mechanics. But for a $2.99 indie game, I think there's a fun little experience here.
There's also co-op, which makes me curious to see how people approach different team combinations when playing together.
Full disclosure: I'm affiliated with the team behind the game.
