I came across Vegeteamble recently and decided to give it a shot. Honestly, the idea of fruits and vegetables fighting each other sounds kinda ridiculous at first lol
But I was curious about how the gameplay would actually turn out.
The first thing I noticed was the character concept. It's definitely not something you see in every strategy game, and I think that gives Vegeteamble its own personality. The overall style feels pretty lighthearted, which fits the theme well.
Gameplay-wise, building a team and experimenting with different characters and equipment is probably the most interesting part for me. It's fun to try different combinations and see what works better. The mechanics are also fairly easy to get into, so you don't have to spend forever learning the basics before you can start playing.
That said, I don't think everything is perfect. The combat could use more variety, especially when it comes to boss fights and visual effects. I'd also like to see more meaningful differences between character builds, so experimenting feels even more rewarding. Hopefully, these are things that can be improved in future updates

The co-op mode is a nice addition, too. I can see it being more enjoyable when playing with friends, especially if you're both trying to figure out different team combinations. Though, of course, how much fun you get out of it depends on your own playstyle.
Overall, I'd say Vegeteamble is a pretty interesting little indie game. The concept is unusual, the team-building aspect gives you something to experiment with, and there's room for the game to grow. It's not necessarily going to be everyone's cup of tea, but if you enjoy strategy games and don't mind a slightly goofy theme, it might be worth checking out
I'm curious to see what the developers add next. More characters, better boss mechanics, and a bit more combat variety would definitely make me want to come back and try it again!
