Ngày nay, ngày càng có nhiều cơ hội đi du lịch tới các nước văn minh, tiên tiến như Australia, Mỹ. Tuy nhiên, vấn đề xin visa thường khá khó khăn với những nước trên, đặc biệt đối với Hoa Kì. Chuẩn bị kỹ giấy tờ, giữ tâm lý vững vàng và luôn trung thực khiến bạn suôn sẻ hơn trong quá trình xin visa du lịch. Bạn có thể tham khảo các mẫu câu hỏi trong câu truyện sau:
Hai tháng trước, tôi và vợ tôi quyết định tới Mỹ đi du lịch, phần vì cả hai đều đã rảnh hơn, phần vì muốn thăm con trai chúng tôi đang làm việc bên Mỹ. Biết rằng rất nhiều người từng bị đánh trượt visa, chúng tôi đã chuẩn bị rất kĩ cho phần phỏng vấn. Quá trình xin visa của chúng tôi diễn ra suôn sẻ và tháng sau chúng tôi sẽ có mặt ở đất Mỹ. Vì vậy, tôi xin chia sẻ những câu hỏi thường gặp khi đi phỏng vấn visa du lịch và cách trả lời. Thông thường, các câu hỏi mà đại sứ quán đề cập tới sẽ thuộc 04 phần: Thông tin du lịch, Thông tin người thân ở Mỹ, Vé máy bay- bảo hiểm và Thông tin việc làm.
TRAVELLING INFORMATION
Q: When do you plan to travel?
A: “We plan to travel in name of month.”
Q: Why do you want to travel at that time?
A: “My son/daughter has arranged for leave from work during that period. They will be able to show us around then.”
Hãy nói thế này nếu bạn tới Mỹ vào mùa xuân/hè: “We want to visit during summer as the weather will be suitable for us and we have heard that everything is beautiful at that time of the year”.
Nếu bạn đến vào mùa thu/đông, hãy nói: “We want to visit at that time because we want to see the fall colors and snow.”
Q: What are you going to do in the US?
A: “We are going to travel/visit the interesting places there like: (Kể tên 1 vài địa điểm nổi tiếng) Disneyland, Niagara Falls, Washington D.C, Las Vegas and spend time with our son/daughter and son/daughter-in-law.”
Q: What is the purpose of your trip?
A: “We are going for pleasure and tourism, to see some of the interesting places in the US and to spend time with our son/daughter (and son/daughter-in-law).”

If we stay for six months, we will be able to do sight seeing and spend time with our son/daughter (and son/daughter-in-law). But a shorter visa will be acceptable if you think it is appropriate.”
Q: What is the guarantee that you will come back?
A: “I have family and property here in Vietnam, so I will definitely come back.”
