how to write an essay ( task 1 and task 2 in IELTS) well ?

Hi guys! I'm Huong and...well, i hope that someone will help me to solve my problems.
I'm learning IELTS but i have some problems with writing essays, i have a quite large number of accademic words but in some particular cases, i can't use it...i don't know the reasons why =='. Normally, i usually use simple and easily-understood words in my essays so that i cannot get high marks in test,by the way So...are there any help for me ?
