Topic : Nowadays, some employers think that formal academic qualifications are more important than life experience or personal qualities when they look for new employees. Why is it the case ? Is it a positive or negative development ?


In today’s society, it can not be denied that professional degree take an important role when you apply for a job. However, some recruiters use the qualifications as the main measurement over those who have good life experience or good personal qualities. And viewed from different sides, this trend has both positive and negative development.

As far as I know, learning has been important for many ages and especially in the new milenium of technology. And franky speaking that is one of the main factors why recriters choose the employees that well-qualified over those who have good life experience and personality traits. The formal education is a structured, systematic form of learning and the professional degree can be an evidence for knowledgeable candidates, illustrates their patience, classic skills and tough training.


Overall, besides the benefits of this trend, there are many drawbacks why the employers shouldn’t use the high qualifications as the main measurement when they choose new staffs. It was not the accident that many graduated students are jobleness and furthermore they will become burdens to the society. What is mentioning is there are many students are shortage of communication skills and life experience. They just know the theories and have good qualifications for that. To be honest, it is a bad consequence and have to be changed in the society.
