The plot revolves around a former heavyweight boxing champion, a world class con man and the manhunt for a man labeled "The Creedator". What began with one former boxing champion turning into a hardened criminal turned assassin soon had several others joining the cause. This group of vigilantes set out to do whatever it takes to make this mission succeed, fighting against anyone who stands in their way.
The first trailer contained a few brief clips, but that was about it. When viewing the second trailer I really wanted to see more about the story, the characters, and more specifically, the role of Rashad Evans as the former UFC heavyweight champion. My excitement quickly faded after only a few minutes. That wasn't a big surprise considering the poor quality of the trailers. Not only is where to watch creed ii lacking in quality overall but so too is the acting.
In short, the story is very well written, has some nice elements, but overall is rather generic in nature. I feel like Evans and co-writer Evan Goldberg didn't really try to create a unique story for streaming providers to pick up, which is very disappointing considering the quality of the movie as a whole. Where to watch creed ii is not like watching true story based films that offer so much character development. You don't feel like any of the fighters actually developed or changed throughout the film. It's more like they were all sitting around in some boring room and the highlight of the movie was when one of them said something stupid.
There are two main characters in where to watch creed ii, namely Michael Bisping and Rashad Evans. Unfortunately not much development was provided for either of them, although I do believe that later on in the film they will start to develop. It's just not enough for streaming providers to want to watch this movie. My main beef with where to watch creed ii is the acting, I felt like the lead characters were not really convincing. They didn't have personalities which made them entertaining to watch.
Where to watch creed is just a generic, cookie cutter fight video with no real story, characters, or performance to hold your attention. If you want to watch some great drama with absolutely no substance, then make sure to check out the best MMA video on streaming services right now. No sub-par drama.
