Sentence Tranformation

Hầu hết trong các bài test TA trong trường hiện nay đều có dạng bài Sent Transformation-Chuyển đổi câu( thành câu có nghĩa tương tự , etc) và cả trong các kì thi tuyển. Vậy nên hôm nay Teeny xin mạn phép post một vài cấu trúc Sent Trans. Mọi người nếu còn biết nhiều cấu trúc khác, xin hãy post lên nhé vì hiện nay Teeny đang cần mấy structure đó, gấp lắm >.
The box was so heavy that the child couldn’t carry it.
=> It was such a heavy box that the child couldn’t carry it.

IF UNLESS

Ex:
If you missed the program you couldn’t really understand their intention.
=> Unless you attended the program, you couldn’t really understand their intention.


3.

S + Have/Has Not + V (PP)
=> … First time + S + Have / Has + PP

Ex:
I haven’t seen that man here before.
=> It’s the first time I have seen that man here.

4.

S + Have/Has Not + V (PP) …
Since (For) …
=> - S + Last + V (past) … When …
- The Last Time + S + Was …

Ex:
I haven’t heard from him since August.
=> The last time I heard from him was in August.

5.

S + V (Past) … Ago
=> S + Have/Has Been + V-ing + Since (For) …

Ex:
He started working for this company a year ago.
=> He has been working for this company for a year.

6.

S + CAN NOT + INFINITIVE
=> S + PREVENT + OBJECT + FROM + GERUND


Ex:
Because of the rough sea, the ferry couldn’t sail.
=> The rough sea prevented the ferry from sailing.
