Một bài nói có thêm idioms sẽ nghe tự nhiên và giống với người bản xứ, nhưng nếu câu nào cũng có idiom thì thứ nhất bài nói sẽ bị trừ điểm, thứ hai giám khảo chấm thi sẽ nghĩ rằng các bạn đang khoa trương vốn từ của mình. Hãy dùng từ vựng và idiom một cách thông minh nhé!
A/ Mối quan hệ tốt
Ví dụ: As soon as we met each other, we got on like a house on fire and just took an instant liking to each other.
Ví dụ: I always had a soft spot for Maria despite the fact that she often let me down. [to let someone down: làm cho ai đó buồn, thất vọng]
Ví dụ: I suppose I always got along quite well with my sister when we were growing up.
