Hi everybody,
Glass is everywhere: windows, phones, glasses, computer screens… But I suddenly wondered:
I've heard that glass isn't actually a completely solid, but rather a kind of "amorphous solid." Is that true?
Glass is everywhere: windows, phones, glasses, computer screens… But I suddenly wondered:
- 🔍 What is glass made of? (Sand? Silica?)
- 🔥 Why is glass transparent yet so hard?
- 💥 Why does glass shatter into sharp pieces?
- 📱 How does tempered glass on a phone differ from regular glass?
