Simple present – keeps – is kept

Simple past – kept – was kept
Past continuous – was keeping - was being kept
Present perfect – has kept – has been kept
Past perfect – had kept – had been kept
Future – will keep – will be kept
Conditional – would keep – would be kept
Perfect conditional – would have kept – would have been kept
Present infinitive – to keep – to be kept
Perfect infinitive – to have kept – to have been kept
Present participal/gerund – keeping - being kept
Perfect participle – having kept - having been kept
Những động từ nhấn mạnh về ý kiến và lời đồn: say, report, think, believe
Ex: People say that he is the most intellighent in the class
=> He is said to be the…
=> It is said that he is the…
Các động từ như Advise/beg/order/recommend/urge + chủ từ + to - Vinfinitive + object ta có 2 cách đổi như sau:
Ex: He urged the council to reduce the rates.
=> The council was/were urged to reduce the rates.
=> He urged that the rates should be reduced.
Các động từ như Advise/insist/propose/recommend/suggest + gerund + object, ta có 1 cách đổi như sau:
Ex: He recommended using bullet – proof glass.
=> He recommended that the bullet – proof should be used.
