The tables illustrate how people in the UK thought about the factors should be invested by the government according to gender and age group.
Overall, it can be seen that while men supposed to be in favor of education, women claimed that the government should allocate money almost for health. In addition, education was prefered by the youngers more than the elders while health witnessed the reversed pattern.
Regarding gender, education outperformed in the survey by men. The figure nearly doubled that for health and was four times higher than that for other areas. In terms of women, education area ranked at the second after health, accounting for 48%.
In regards to age group, it is clear that health was mentioned as a vital factor by people from 35 to over 65 years old. The highest percentage recorded in health factor was in the 65 plus age group, at 72%. On the other hand, the youngers cared about education rather than any areas. The evidence for that was the percentages of 40 and 52 respectively in the 18-24 and 25-34 age group that wanted the goverment to invest more in health problems.
