There is an undeniable truth that studying abroad has a huge proportion of its disadvantages. One general drawback of it is homesickness. Because you can't meet your family members, as usual, you will have the feeling of heartsickness or loneliness which is extremely common when you must live away from your family. You, as a result, do not have anyone to confide in you, you easily want to give up and feel really pressured. Moreover, studying abroad can be a barrier for you in terms of cost. You have to manage your money to afford not only the travel expenses but also the living cost which is desperately high in a foreign country. Therefore, if you don't have enough money, you ought to find some part-time jobs which can affect your studies. Another issue you must face is whether your language is good enough. If you aren't good at speaking the language of this country, you can't communicate or understand other people in your daily life which is very crucial when you live and learn abroad. All in all, studying abroad can have some negative effects, but it is also the best chance for you to experience a new learning environment and challenge yourself.
